Chefs Taster Evening

With Summer holidays behind us, it is time to meet up with friends and family and join us here at The Blue Anchor. Head Chef James Robertson and his team of talented chefs will prepare a selection of delicious dishes for you to enjoy.

On Arrival Mini canapé selection

Guinness braised short rib Bon bon,  Maldon smoked salmon tartare,  Paprika taleggio cheese en croute

Salt beef salad and horseradish panna cotta

Second

Pan fried king scallops and king prawns with chilli garlic purée and bell pepper foam

Third

Wild strawberry and Iron Bru sorbet

Fourth

Venison two-ways

Venison fillet Wellington with wild mushroom duxelle and venison casserole
served with horseradish dumpling and glazed root vegetables

Fifth

Pan fried stone bass with pesto and sundried tomato gnocchi,
rocket, roast butternut squash, samphire and wild garlic foam

White chocolate and Amaretto parfait with cherry and pistachio
